SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast welcomes guests of all abilities and aims to make the aquarium as accessible as possible.
The aquarium is wheelchair accessible throughout, with ramps connecting each level. A limited number of wheelchairs are also available to borrow from Admissions on a first come, first served basis.
Guests with disabilities who require support can book a complimentary carer/support worker ticket. A valid Companion Card is required.
Assistance animals are welcome at SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast. Guests should bring valid certification and identification for their assistance animal.
Additional accessibility facilities and support include:
- Designated accessible parking spaces
- An accessible bathroom with an adult change table
- Seating throughout the aquarium
- Accessible emergency exits and evacuation routes
- Sensory information to help guests plan their visit
- Quieter visiting periods for guests who may prefer a less crowded or noisy environment
- Accessibility information for animal experiences, as some experiences have specific mobility, communication or safety requirements
